About the event
The Inflatable 5K is your chance to jump, leap and slide your way through a 5K inflatable obstacle course all in aid of St John’s Hospice.
This event is taking place in Guildford (Surrey) and it's going to be an adrenaline filled race to the finish. You will tackle 30 gigantic obstacles on the 5K distance. Combined with five pumping music zones to motivate you around the course, this year's Inflatable 5K is the most epic yet!
The course is 2.5K and so you have the option to take part in a 2.5k, 5k, 10k, 15k obstacle course when following the sign up link at the top of the page. This race is suitable for children aged 5 and above. Please make sure to select the 'Child' entry (5 to 15) when signing up your child.
So grab your friends, lace up your trainers and help us to enable people in our community to live better for longer.
Why support St John’s Hospice?
As part of Team St John’s you will receive:
- A free hospice-branded technical running vest.
- An Inflatable 5K 2025 finisher’s medal
- Event photography and finish line goodies.
- One-on-one support and mentoring to help you with your fundraising.

Most importantly, your fundraising will help us to reach more people and provide more care. Whether it is supporting a child with a bereavement counselling session following the loss of a loved one, providing a community nurse with new clinical equipment, or providing specialist one-to-one nursing on our Inpatient Unit.
How your support helps
- £25 could fund a bereavement counselling session for a patient's loved one, providing them with much needed support at the toughest time.
- £50 could fund a group art therapy session in our Wellbeing Centre, enabling our patients to learn new skills, express themselves and above all else, relax and have fun with one another.
- £250 could fund a day of expert nursing care from a Healthcare Assistant in our Inpatient Unit.
- £500 could fund 24-hour at-home nursing care for a patient who wants to remain in familiar and comforting surroundings in the later stages of their illness.
