About the event
The Inflatable 5K Obstacle Course is coming to St Albans on Saturday 25 April 2026, and it’s set to be bigger, bouncier, and better than ever!
Get ready for an epic day of fun as you jump, bounce, slide, and swing your way to the finish line on the giant inflatable obstacles. Whether you’re taking part with friends, family, or going solo, this is an experience you won’t want to miss.
The course is 2.5K per lap, giving you the choice to take on:
- 2.5K (one lap)
- 5K (two laps)
- 10K (three laps)
- 15K (six laps)
The event is suitable for children aged 5 and over, when accompanied by an adult (maximum 3 children per adult). Best of all, every bounce helps raise vital funds to support local hospice care, making a real difference to people in our community.
Please note that when you click the button to sign up you will be redirected to the challenge event provider's website.

"We had such a wonderful day at the Inflatable 5K and would highly recommend it to anyone to participate in. It was a really cool experience and even better to know that the funds we have raised are supporting such a worthwhile cause in our community!"
Why support St John’s Hospice?
As part of Team St John’s you will receive:
- A free hospice-branded technical running vest.
- An Inflatable 5K 2026 finisher’s medal.
- Event photography and finish line goodies.
- One-on-one support and mentoring to help you with your fundraising.
Most importantly, your fundraising will make a real difference in the community. You’ll help us reach more people and provide vital care, whether it’s supporting a child through bereavement counselling, funding an art therapy session in our Wellbeing Centre or helping families with respite care.
How your support helps
- £25 could fund a bereavement counselling session for a patient's loved one, providing them with much needed support at the toughest time.
- £50 could fund a group art therapy session in our Wellbeing Centre, enabling our patients to learn new skills, express themselves and above all else, relax and have fun with one another.
- £250 could fund a day of expert nursing care from a Healthcare Assistant in our Inpatient Unit.
- £500 could fund 24-hour at-home nursing care for a patient who wants to remain in familiar and comforting surroundings in the later stages of their illness.
