Fundraising ideas
There are so many fun and creative ways you can fundraise for St John’s. Kick-start your fundraising journey by taking a look at some of our ideas below:
Organise a bake sale or dinner party
Are you a keen baker or have a passion for hosting dinner parties? You can showcase your delicious bakes at school or at work, or even invite your loved ones over for dinner while also raising vital funds to support your local hospice. Simply invite them over and ask them to leave a suggested donation on the day.
Are you part of a school, club, association, group, society, union or membership organisation? We would love to work with you and can help you in giving something back to your local hospice and community. You could host a quiz night, a Christmas jumper or non-uniform day.
Members of our Fundraising team can also visit your group to give an informative and age-appropriate session to raise awareness of hospice care and all the wonderful things we are doing to support people in the local community.
Take on a challenge
Walk, trek, swim, abseil. You could take on a challenge and help to support patients and their families in your community. As part of Team St John’s you will receive one-on-one support from our dedicated team, gain access to more fundraising tips and will get your own St John’s vest to wear whilst completing your challenge.
Whether it is your birthday, wedding or a special anniversary you could help to support St John’s by asking your friends and family to a make a donation in lieu of gifts or flowers. You might even like to have a collection on your special day and we can provide you with collection envelopes and tins.
How to pay in your fundraising
We are incredibly grateful for your support and want to make it as easy as possible for you to pay in the funds you have worked so hard to raise.
