About the event
Take part in the Saucony London 10K, the most iconic capital city 10K race, taking place on Sunday 13 July 2025. Live bands, DJs and cheering fans will motivate you along the route, which takes you past Westminster Bridge, The London Eye, Regent Street, Piccadilly Circus and Big Ben. This flat and friendly event is perfect for beginners or seasoned pros chasing a new PB!
“Race day was absolutely brilliant! The atmosphere was truly electric. The training definitely helped, but the greatest boost of all was seeing the amazing St John’s Team cheering us on at the half way point of the run.”
Why run for St John’s Hospice?
As part of Team St John’s you will receive:
- A free hospice-branded technical running vest.
- A Saucony London 10k 2025 finisher’s medal and T shirt.
- One-on-one support and mentoring to help you with your fundraising.
- Regular newsletters with all our latest news and activities.
- On the day support from our dedicated staff and volunteers.
Most importantly, your fundraising will help us to reach more people and provide more care. Whether it is supporting a child with a bereavement counselling session following the loss of a loved one, providing a community nurse with new clinical equipment, or providing specialist one-to-one nursing on our Inpatient Unit.
How your support helps
- £25 could fund a bereavement counselling session for a patient's loved one, providing them with much needed support at the toughest time.
- £50 could fund a group art therapy session in our Wellbeing Centre, enabling our patients to learn new skills, express themselves and above all else, relax and have fun with one another.
- £250 could fund a day of expert nursing care from a Healthcare Assistant in our Inpatient Unit.
- £500 could fund 24-hour at-home nursing care for a patient who wants to remain in familiar and comforting surroundings in the later stages of their illness.
