'Paint the Park Pink' raises £7k for our Hospice!
A huge thank you to Hospice supporters for joining us for 'Paint the Park Pink' on Sunday 19th May, raising a fantastic £7,000 for St John’s Hospice!
There was a buzz in St John’s Wood as more than 200 Hospice supporters all wore pink as they took on the 5k sponsored walk through Regents Park on what was a glorious sunny day, with spectacular views across London waiting for them to enjoy once they reached Primrose Hill.
Before the walk began, families, friends, volunteers and staff all gathered at the Hospice for an in memory balloon release and ribbon cutting by CEO Caroline Fox and Hospice patients.
This year Rocco was the winner of our best dressed dog competition with his bright pink sparkly attire and matching ribbons! Rocco received a bag of treats from the lovely people at Primrose Hill Pets.
Fundraising Director Mark Thomas said, ‘A big thank you to everyone who took part and helped us raise this fantastic amount, our Hospice simply could not run without the generosity of our supporters and the help of our volunteers.’
A special thank you to our sponsor Marsh and Parsons for your wonderful support and Unico Gelato & Caffe for supporting.
