Once you are happy that you’ve taken care of your loved ones, you could leave a legacy gift to our hospice in your Will.

By making a will, you can guarantee that your wishes will be carried out after your death, and your assets go to the people and organisations that matter most to you. We’re pleased to be able to offer our community the option of making a free will through Bequeathed, which makes the will writing process even easier.
By making a Will For Good through Bequeathed you will play an important part in making our vision a reality. From providing community nurses, bereavement support, day services, occupational therapies or carer respite, leaving a gift to St John’s Hospice, however big or small, will enable your compassion and kindness to live on.
There’s no obligation to include a gift in your free will, but anything you do leave will help us provide care and comfort to everyone in our community who needs it.

If you already have a will and would like to amend it to leave a gift to our charity the following wording may be helpful:
I bequeath to St John’s Hospice (SS John & Elizabeth Charity), registered charity number 235822, the residue of my estate/ one X share of the residue of my estate/ X% of my estate to be restricted to the charitable endeavours of St John’s Hospice.
I bequeath to St John’s Hospice (SS John & Elizabeth Charity), registered charity number 235822, the sum of £X (specify words and figures) to be restricted to the charitable endeavours of St John’s Hospice.
I bequeath to St John’s Hospice (SS John & Elizabeth Charity), registered charity number 235822, all of my personal effects/ specific items to be restricted to the charitable endeavours of St John’s Hospice.
