About the event

The St John’s Hospice Easter Egg-Stravaganza is back! We have lots in store for you, with an Easter trail, face painting, arts and crafts, games and more!

The Easter Egg-Stravaganza will be held on Saturday 12 April and Sunday 13 April 2025 in St John’s Wood Church Gardens from 10 am - 4 pm on both days. Please feel free to arrive at any time during these hours.

Thanks to this year’s sponsors, Winkworth St John's Wood Estate Agents and Westminster Council, all funds raised at the Easter Egg-Stravaganza will go directly towards our work, supporting those in our community to live well for longer.

Tickets cost £5 and can be purchased by clicking ‘Join us.’ Please note, that accompanying adults are free, and you do not need to purchase a ticket, just turn up on the day.

Each £5 ticket includes:‍

• A fun-filled Easter Trail with an prize for all participants
• Face painting
  
• Easter arts and crafts

Also on the day:

• Food and drinks available to purchase from local partners
• Raffle with fantastic prizes
• Easter games with Jellycat prizes
• Second hand book sale

How your support helps

All funds raised from our Easter Egg-Stravaganza go toward supporting more than 4,000 people with life-limiting illnesses and their families across North London. So far, with your support, we have been able to create moments of joy and compassion both inside and outside of our hospice and work to ensure that each of our patients and their families are supported through every aspect of their journey.

There are still so many more moments to create, which is why your support is so important to us. We want our patients to be able to celebrate life and continue to create happy memories together, for as long as possible.

• £10 could purchase new books and toys for the Children’s Room, helping to support patients' loved ones at the toughest time and to create a comforting environment for families to spend time together.
• £35 could provide a home visit from a community nurse who can provide much-needed support to patients and their families in their own homes.
• £50 could fund a group art therapy session in our new Wellbeing Centre, enabling our patients to learn new skills, express themselves and above all else, relax and have fun with one another.
