'Paint the Park Pink' raises £15,000
More than 200 supporters made our 'Paint the Park Pink' event a record breaker on Saturday – raising over £15,000.
The spring sunshine came out as the walk began from St Johns Hospice with an in memory balloon release and ribbon cutting by CEO Caroline Fox and Hospice patients.
The annual charity walk drew record numbers as friends, families, staff and volunteers took part in the 5k ramble around Regents Park that took the crowds to Primrose Hill to enjoy spectacular views across London.
A BBQ and refreshments were waiting at the finish line for walkers to enjoy as many stayed into the afternoon enjoying the festivities.
Fundraising Director Mark Thomas said, "A big thank you to everyone who took part and help us raise this incredible amount, our Hospice simply which could not run without the generosity of our supporters and the help of our volunteers."
