The jasmine flower and its beautiful scent have long been associated with moments of reflection and happy memories, making it the perfect symbol of our fortieth year.

To celebrate this special occasion and all the happy memories made over the last 40 years, we have created hand-crafted anniversary jasmine flowers.

For a suggested minimum donation of £40, you can personalise your jasmine with a dedication to someone special or with the name of your family, school, business or foundation to act as a reminder of your ongoing support of St John’s. The jasmines will then form a beautiful display of our community's generosity at our anniversary party in June.

Your jasmine

Each of the hand-crafted anniversary jasmines can fit a dedication of up to 30 characters and will be displayed at our birthday party in June. After the party, we will contact you to arrange collection so that you can cherish your jasmine at home.

We have 400 jasmines available, and we would love each one to be dedicated to someone special or to act as a reminder of your ongoing support, creating a truly memorable display of our community's generosity.

For a suggested minimum donation of £40, your jasmine will be included in the installation and all funds raised will go towards our hospice, helping to provide quality, holistic care to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families when it is needed most.

The making of the jasmines

We have worked with sculptor James Sutton to create the perfect symbol of our 40th year and all the happy memories shared. Each jasmine has been lovingly hand-crafted and painted by James at his workshop before being transported to our hospice.

We are truly grateful to Dorchester Collection who have helped to fund the creation of these beautiful jasmines, meaning that all funds raised through their dedication can go directly to our work.

Whether it is supporting a child with a bereavement counselling session following the loss of a loved one, providing art therapy for patients at our new Wellbeing Centre, or providing specialist one-to-one nursing on our Inpatient Unit. Our 40th anniversary jasmines will help to have a lasting impact on our hospice and ensure we can continue being there for people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families when they need it most.
