Fundraising events can be as small or as extravagent as you like. Whether you just want to individually take up the challenge of a sponsored silence or you get your whole office to attend a Valentine Ball, follow the below tips to ensuring success of your event.

- Try to set up a fundraising team with regular meetings, to make the event as easy as possible to organise - many hands make light work!
- Brainstorm to come up with an event that will be both fun and rewarding.
- Set a date for your event.
- Set a budget - how much do you expect to raise? How much will you need to spend? What will you need to charge people in order to make a profit?
- You may find it helpful to do a breakdown of actions and costs. Use our event planner to help you.
- Don't forget to ask permission to fundraise - especially if you are planning to do a collection in a public place.
