Remembering St John's Hospice in your Will

"Leaving a gift to St John's Hospice in your Will is an amazing way for your generosity to last beyond your lifetime"

Once you have provided for your loved ones in your Will, you may also like to remember a cause that you have cared about during your life-time. By pledging to support St John's Hospice in your Will, you are enabling us to continue to provide our high quality of care to terminally ill patients and their families in our local community.

St John's Hospice provides specialist care to anyone in Central and North West London suffering from a life threatening illness. Last year the Hospice supported and cared for nearly 2,000 patients and their families, through our Inpatient Unit, Day Care Centre and the Community Care and Hospice@Home teams. The care our multi-disciplinary staff provide is tailored to meet the individual needs of each patient and is entirely free of charge.

When you leave a legacy to St John's Hospice, whether large or small, your gift will play an important part in our work. Here are some examples of the types of things your gift could support:

  • £1,000 Cost of replenishing the Social Work Library
  • £5,000 Cost of 2 specialist hydro-tilt pressure-relief chairs
  • £25,000 Towards Hospice@Home services (£77,230 for 1 year)
  • £50,000 Cost of befriending activities for 1 year
  • £100,000 Cost of complementary therapy sessions for 1 year
  • £250,000+ Cost of running the Community Care service for 1 year
