How trusts and foundations can support St John’s Hospice

Charitable trusts and foundations play an important role in the care we provide at St John’s Hospice.

With funding for services, equipment and new developments our partners enable us to deliver expert care completely free of charge.

Over the past year generous support from trusts & foundations has enabled us to:
  • Improve our facilities for bereaved families
  • Provide essential new medical equipment and furniture
  • Fund special initiatives to develop our services
Case Studies

The Wolfson Foundation

Generous support from The Wolfson Foundation has transformed the quality of the environment for our patients with an improved layout and fully modernised Inpatient Unit.

We are very grateful for the loyal and generous support of the Trustees who have supported our Charity over many years.

 The Axis Foundation

An award from The Axis Foundation enabled us to buy a new piece of laser equipment for Janet our Specialist Lymphoedema Practitioner.

This has enabled us to provide patients with laser therapy as part of their treatment. Annually more than 400 treatments sessions are provided through this valuable service.

Strand Parishes Trust

Funding from Strand Parishes Trust has funded our award winning Hospice at Home service. The grant is helping us to support our patients in Westminster paying for two weeks of care from a fully trained Health Care Assistant.
