Our Relationships with Schools
Our team of social workers and counsellors work closely with schools and families with young children to help children cope with the new and frightening experience of bereavement. Local schools recognise the value of St John's Hospice’s work in the community and are a huge source of support for the Hospice.
Whether you are a pre-school, infant, primary, secondary school, college or university there are many ways that you can help.
What can you do for us?
- We are keen to encourage schools and colleges to engage in activities which raise awareness of the hospice as well as vital funds.
- Run art competitions & projects.
- Get involved in our events such as carol singing at our Light Up A Life service.
- Organise your own fundraising events. Our team can provide ideas as well as posters, sponsor forms, banners and balloons.
