Having recently commemorated 30 years of providing high quality local care, we are looking to the future to sustain and grow the fantastic services of the Hospice.
Regular gifts help St John's plan its future care by providing income that we can count on. We spend more than £5.7million a year on our vital services and we rely on public donations to find almost a third of that money. A regular gift will go to work sooner, helping to improve care and help people with life threatening illness.
Your monthly gift of £3 or more over a 12 month period will add up to a very useful contribution to our funding needs. You can increase, decrease or cancel your regular gift at any time. What's more, as long as you are a UK taxpayer your gift will be eligible for gift aid, which means it will be worth an extra 25 per cent to the Hospice at no extra cost to you.
How your regular gift can help:
£10 a month, over a year, could pay for a therapist to visit our Day Services Centre to offer patients a range of complementary therapies, including reflexology, massage and acupuncture
£15 a month, over a year, could fund an annual education and training session for our volunteers
£20 a month, over a year, could fund a monthly visit from our Bereavement Co-ordinator to a family dealing with the loss of a loved one
£50 a month, over a year, could help support a patient staying in our 19- bed Inpatient Unit
Whatever the size of your gift, we promise to ensure it is put to the best possible use to benefit our patients. You can donate as little as £3 a month and it still has the power to make a difference.

Payroll Giving is also a great way to give regularly. Your donation will be deducted by your payroll department before your tax is calculated. You will not have to pay the income tax normally due by Indland Revenue.
